Presented by Hill Side Motors, this striking 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback has been transformed in the style of the legendary 1967 Shelby GT350, combining classic Mustang fastback styling with V8 power and a performance-focused drivetrain.
Originally equipped with a 200ci inline-six and finished in Wimbledon White, this Mustang was extensively refurbished and modified under previous ownership. The car was fitted with GT350-style bodywork and refinished in Candy Apple Red with contrasting white racing stripes.
The exterior features a fiberglass hood with hood pins, rear spoiler, side scoops, Shelby-style badging, and a pair of inboard driving lights. The aggressive GT350-inspired appearance is complemented by 15-inch Magstar-style wheels wrapped in staggered-width BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires.
Braking is handled by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums, providing improved stopping performance while retaining the classic character of the car.
Inside, the cabin features black vinyl front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench, complemented by matching trim panels and carpeting. Additional equipment includes a vintage-style Custom Autosound stereo, chrome shifter with T-handle reverse lockout, roll bar, and Shelby badging.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, combination fuel-level and alternator gauge, and additional gauges for oil pressure and water temperature.
Under the hood is a 302ci V8 installed under previous ownership in place of the original six-cylinder engine. The V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley four-barrel carburetor, and exhaust headers feeding a dual exhaust system with Borla mufflers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec T10 five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end with 29-spline axles and 3.73:1 gearing.
